This 5-hour online self-paced educational course offers the only designation of its kind to individuals within the senior services industry. Upon successfully completing the entire course, you will receive an attractive certificate along with a digital copy of the designation emblem to use in your marketing, social media and public relations efforts

• Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants: This course has been approved for 5.0 continuing education/competency units by several State Boards. Specific state board approvals include TX (#79250TX), CA (CPTA#24-260), NY (APTANY 24-05-19), OH (OPTA 24S1888), FL (FPTA CE24-1222906), NV and LA. The CEU/CCU credits are also available through reciprocity and/or petition in most other states. Many State Boards of Physical Therapy accept courses approved by their board, and/or courses approved by other state APTA chapters. The Practice Act of some states do not require course evaluation for continuing education credit, and/or have no CE requirements for PTs and PTAs. You will need to check with your state to see how many hours you need each approval period and how many of those are allowed from online coursework. CERTIFICATION RENEWAL
Due to the constantly changing nature of this industry, the importance of providing the full comprehensive home safety assessment, and to encourage ongoing continuing education, graduates are required to take a short refresher course every year. The cost of re-certification and the refresher course will be $97.00
